A very pale pink color, almost a light pinkish white, is the biggest color trend for children’s rooms. Forget minimalism of white, or the coldness of the monochromatic colors.
The color pink has many shades, but it’s in the lighter tones that the combination with other colors can make it an important color.
Pale pink will be pretty and modern if mixed to graphite and shades of gray. If you want to go for a retro style, bet on pastel shades that make some contrast, like light blue or green. And if none of those combinations please you, pale pink also looks great mixed with off white and beige.
In the color palette, you can find from cleaner tones of pink to the most nudes. Forget the stronger shades like hot pink, or bubble gum.
The color also can be present in accessories, like blankets, frames, baskets, plushes etc.
You can expect a peaceful, neutral and warm, but with personality and with a modern touch.
